Halloween DJ Survey

Neighbors,

We need your help to determine if we should contract for music provided by a DJ for this year’s Halloween Party. Based on last year’s party, the DJ was a HUGE success. Neighbors enjoyed dancing, singing along with the music and some Karaoke!

The cost of last year‘s party was $25 per person which included the DJ and sandwiches from Publix. The feedback from last year was that we should do a potluck rather than have it catered.

We are estimating the cost of this year to be $12-15 per person to pay for the DJ (based on an estimate of 40 neighbors attending).

If we do not hire a DJ, the music will be generated by a SPOTIFY/AMAZON playlist via the speaker & sound system donated to the clubhouse. Important! We would need a volunteer to run the music and/or karaoke.

Having a DJ would mean everyone can enjoy the party. While music via a playlist is ‘free’ – having a DJ does allow for more flexibility, more variety, and special requests.

The choice is ours to make.
